It's been too long since my last post. And, unfortunately, I am swamped with papers to grade and won't have time to write a true column for another week or so.
But this article by Noam Chomsky came to me today on Atler.net and it really articulates America's long historic reach to become a global imperial power very well.
It will take a while to wade through this, but the swim is worth the effort.
He may be the nation's most astute and articulate liberal thinker.
